Featuring a walk for fans and an Open Air concert  – this is the sound of summer in the Tyrol! The concerts in the Casino Stadium – which have now become a tradition – in his home town of Kitzbühel are now being held for the seventh time, have already assumed cult status and are a must every year for Hansi Hinterseer fans. For all friends of Austrian folk music, who would still like to see Hansi Hinterseer live in Kitzbühel in August 2008, the fan hike on the Hahnenkamm and entrance to Kitzbühel will give them the opportunity to pursue the atmospheric programme close at hand.

Hansi Hinterseer and his friends from Tiroler Echo are a guarantee that the mood will be good! Romantic ballads, arousing tarantellas, titles from the Album „Volksmusik der Berge” (Folk Music in the Mountains) and a selection of favourite hits, the Tyroleans – veteran open air concert goers – will celebrate with international spectators in the Kitzbühel Mountains.

The Great Hansi Hinterseer Open Air starts with the hike for fans on Thursday, 21 August. Hansi will guide his fans in 2008 with lots of music and a great mood into the Kitzbühel Mountains: his friends from the Original Tiroler Echo will be there as well as a folk dancing group and a brass band which will play at Lake Ehrenbach. The meeting place is at 12 a.m. at the mountain station of the Hahnenkamm cable car, descent around 1 p.m.. With a view of the magnificent mountain panorama the traditional mountain mass will be held at the Bernhard chapel. As in the previous years, the fans participating in the fan hike will be the first to have the new album “Herzlich Willkommen“ (A Warm Welcome, White Records) personally presented to them by Hansi Hinterseer!

To end the day on a musical note, the Tiroler Echo will play in the town centre of Kitzbühel in the evening.

In the evening of 22 August, Hansi and his guests will welcome the Open-Air visitors to the Friday Show.
       
On Saturday, 23 August, Hansi Hinterseer and his musical Open Air guests will march into the town centre accompanied by the brass band of Kitzbühel. A traditional Farmers’ and Craftsmen’s market will invite visitors to stroll around. The Saturday Show represents the highlight and end of the eventful weekend: “the Great Hansi Hinterseer Open Air“, starting at 7.30 p.m.

Every year more than ten thousand fans come to the Open Air concerts in the tennis stadium in Kitzbühel from Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, France and even from America and Australia. Year for year this promises to be a sensational Show with top musical performers.
