BG Kitzbühel Triathlon World Cup

The absolute highlight of this weekend are the world cup races on Sunday. The women will start in the morning and the men at highnoon. (Olympic distance 1.5 km for swimming, 40 km for cycling and 10 km for running)

The courses are ideal for spectators. The triathletes have to swim two 750 m rounds of the idyllic lake, cycle eight 5 km rounds of a demanding biking trail and run four 2.5 km rounds on a very fast out-and-back course. That means the athletes are rarely out of sight from the Schwarzsee leisure center for long, and spectators can enjoy all the excitement at close quarters.
